The Hungarian Pavilion for the Osaka World Expo is complete
The Hungarian Pavilion, built for the 2025 Osaka World Expo, was an outstanding international showcase of Hungarian architecture, innovation, and engineering expertise.
The highly complex project, spanning nearly two years of design and construction, was carried out by Bayer Construct Zrt. in close cooperation with Hungarian engineers, professionals, and partners.
With its unique architectural solutions and use of natural materials, the pavilion represented the core values of sustainability, knowledge, and humility.
Under the motto “Eight Hours Is Not the World”, the project symbolized perseverance and Hungarian engineering precision – demonstrating how Hungary could present its professional excellence and innovative spirit with dignity on one of the world’s most prestigious international stages.
The World Expo was held in Osaka between April 13 and October 13, 2025, with the participation of 161 countries and 9 international organizations.
The event attracted more than 28 million visitors, primarily from Japan, South Korea, and China, as well as from the broader East Asian region — one of the largest outbound tourism markets in the world.
