Győr sports complex

For the European Youth Olympic Festival in the summer of 2017, Győr built a sports complex with a capacity of 5,000 people, including a multifunctional athletics track, a gymnasium, a judo hall and a tennis court. Our group was commissioned to carry out the monolithic structural works for the halls connected to the central hall. The most challenging part of the project was the construction of the exposed concrete wall in the central lobby, which had to be in perfect harmony with the prefabricated wall on the other side. Construction started at the end of February 2016 and was completed on schedule in the autumn. Since then, the complex has become one of Győr's pride and joy, hosting sporting events, concerts and exhibitions.
