POTATO STORAGE FACILITIES

Our company constructed four potato storage facilities for four different clients, with a total gross floor area of 41,200 m². The halls were built with prefabricated reinforced concrete pillar-frame structures, while the roofs and façades were clad in insulated sandwich panels in compliance with current energy efficiency regulations. Although the buildings are primarily single-storey, the administrative units were placed on mezzanine levels.

Two types of storage technologies were implemented across the facilities: two units operate with bulk storage, while the other two use a crate-based system. In both cases, a specialised air-handling technology ensures long-term potato storage without compromising product quality. The necessary utility infrastructure developments were also carried out as part of the project.
